Interesting information on Sampson.
He graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, a good school, and he was on the Law Review (no small feat at any law school). This tells me that he is a smart guy. Bear in mind that many of the neo-cons found eachother at the University of Chicago. Sampson went on to join a law firm but not for long. He then went to work for Orrin Hatch as his counsel for 3 years. He then wanted to be USA from Utah but Hatch opposed him preferring a guy named Toleman for the job. Hatch intervened with Bush to make that happen. I wonder what Hatch knew that we don't.

2. His career move to Washington DC was "helped" by Elizabeth CHENEY
his "friend" from law school.

3. That's the way almost all of these admin hacks get to DC
I'd be surprised if anybody in the mid to upper levels of any administration was there without a lot of "help" from friends and family. It sure doesn't appear to be a case of the best moving up.

Just take one look at the "legal education" of the now in hiding Monica Goodling. She was "educated" in law at Patwah Robertsons Regent university, not really a top tier school for anybody seriously considering a career in law. And yet, in just 6 short years from graduation, she was able to become a top adviser to the Attorney General of the United States and the main go between between the DOJ and the White House.

Got help us all, we are turning into a theocracy where you will need to just prove your religious mettle to get a government job, real experience and education not required.

5. Well, since the REPUBLICANS have put in an objection to the hearing
let's get back to some more interesting Kyle Sampson related "coincidences" that are about loyal Bushies-like the career of loyal Bushie DoJ Asst. AG Alice S. Fisher.

She was put in charge of the DoJ's Jack Abramoff investigation-in the opinion of many to minimize the damage and provide cover for others with connections to the WH (Karl's shop).

6. A smart guy...who all of the sudden has developed a very poor memory.
Did UChicago Law School's admissions office make a mistake?

7. Another person that Mr. Sampson has selective memory malfunctions
about is J. Scott Jennings-and maybe contact with him is contagious, because he was the Republican political powerpoint presenter at the GSA teleconferences that Lurita Alexis Doan had no/partial memory of yesterday at the House Oversight Committee GSA hearings.

And, golly, it was J. Scott Jennings that was doing his "job" to get former Rove aide, Tim Griffin in as a US Attorney.

Perhaps Mr. Sampson was mind controlled by Karl's shop-or maybe there is a new form of memory loss loose.
