Hospitalis hospital-theme restaurant
Hospitalis hospital-theme restaurant

A BIZARRE hospital-themed restaurant in Latvia is serving food resembling body parts with surgical utensils.

Decked out in a sterile, modern medical environment and boasting scantily clad nurses, the Hospitalis in Riga serves hearty Latvian dishes and a macabre cake topped with realistic-looking body parts such as fingers, noses and tongues.

Served on gurneys and operating tables, the restaurant provides diners with cutlery such as syringes, tweezers and scalpels to devour their meals.

Owned by a group of local doctors, Hospitalis also has a trendy cocktail bar where bartenders in white lab coats mix drinks into beakers and test tubes.

Guests are treated to disturbing dinner entertainment including morbid tunes on violins, while deranged patients are escorted through the restaurant in straightjackets and wheelchairs.

6. the real problem
is that at most hospitals, nurses no longer wear the nurse-porn outfits - white stockings, skirt, etc.

i have yet to see pr0n featuring a nurse in scrubs, which is all i see them wear these days :(

face it. nurse are hawt. cops love nurses.

not to mention that cop uniforms get fetishized in pr0n and elsewhere.

i feel your pain.

the horror...

10. Warpy...
I assure you, when I was in the hospital, at no point did I feel one bit of stirring in my loins over any nurse I had. Some were cute, some were Bulgarian power lifters I would never fuck with, for fear of my own safety, but the pain and the morphine kinda dulled that special edge.

One of the more attractive nurses could have attended me in a string bikini and it would have meant nothing to me.

8. Proves Americans are not the weirdest people in the world. I wouldn't head to Latvia
on a medical tourism visa no matter how inexpensive the treatment.

Is this better or worse than the Toilet-Themed restaurant in Taiwan?

9. Hmmm, reminds me of this place, in a previous DU thread...
...Heart Attack Grill. Rush "Hillbilly Heroin" Limbaugh endorses it, so it must be "excellence in restauranting."

Apparently there have been several DU threads about this joint started periodically. Here's the one I saw recently:

The whole sexist quasi-porno nurse thing coupled with the use of syringes, beakers, test tubes, wheelchairs, operating tables, which these establishments both have in common, is very disturbing. And I'm not actually "anti-porn," in the legitimate and legal sense of the industry, but this is just plain weirdly disturbing, in a "brown acid" kinda way, IMO.
