after the Chase CEO's comments last week
about not understanding why people or congress, rather, were angry...
That just really infuriated me. Jamie Dimon and the like apparently really don't live in the same planet as the rest of us, no sarcasm here. It's clear they have a different set of values.

My husband and I are doing ok. We have a fixed rate mortgage, in a small home, at a good rate.
But things are squeaky for us, as I'm in college to finish a long over due BA in Music.
We are living on his salary. No job is "permanent" anymore, but without giving details of what he does for a living, the likelihood of his job being OK, are pretty good. We are lucky. And we don't take that for granted.

But just because WE are ok, does not mean that I want to do business with a**holes who took advantage of my fellow citizens over and over again.

It's only a simple thing, we don't have much money. But, the only means of real protest in the USA is with the dollar, apparently. So I'm doing what I can by moving our checking accounts to a credit union. I am tired of getting nickeled and dimed by Chase.

We have two loans through the CU, and we will now have a couple of checking and savings accounts there. As soon as I graduate, and get some kind of steady employment (remember I'm a musician), we will probably move the mortgage too (which is at Chase now)...oh and move our college loans.

I was also realizing, that I buy organic just as much out of protest, as I do for heath and the environment. I buy it when we can afford it (except we buy organic dairy all the time).

It's a simple thing, but I think I will try to do more of these things where I can.

Anybody know of an "organic" insurance company?
