Libertarian Democrats in Congress
Are there any? The late Larry McDonald and Mike Gravel were Libertarian in ideology, but they are no longer in Congress.

No, that's right he still wants the Southern vote so he goes to the party he doesn't like.

3. he is a racist, homophobe, anti-choice "free marketeer". Many uninformed DUers think
that he is a progressive because of his anti war on drugs / Iraq war stance. He is nowhere close to being a progressive or being a "Dem" (which really only means you have to have a "D" at the end of your name anymore)

8. It's important to distinguish between "pot, porn, etc. should be legal for adults" libertarianism
and "If your house is on fire, we should let the free market come and put it out" Libertarianism.

BIG difference, but generally lost on the people who want to piss on all "libertarians" equally.
