Rove getting bashed by conservatives at CPAC
And Karl Rove, the man Bush called a "boy genius," and the architect of the GOP plan for a permanent majority? "Why is 'the architect' giving free advice" on cable TV when conservatives are struggling out of the "rubble" of the destroyed buildings built with Rove's "blueprints," {conservative columnist Deroy} Murdock said.

"Would you rather take flying advice from Captain Sully or the pilot of the Hindenburg?" Murdock added to resounding applause at a conference workshop, referring to the captain whose plane landed in the Hudson River in a crash that claimed no casualties.

Conservatives bemoaned their situation as the worst of possible worlds: They don't like what the Democrats are doing, but they're not so happy with a lot of the Republicans, either. And with the new president enjoying wildly high approval ratings, Obama-bashing doesn't give them much traction with the American public.

Karl Rove is indeed the architect of the GOP's collapse, and I sometimes wonder why more republicans don't see that obvious fact. He ran the GOP with a strict gang mentality which still prevails, and it's absolutely killing them. I just hope more of them don't figure it out. Put Karl back in charge, guys. He knows what's best for you.

1. Shouldn't Congress be taking advantage of Karl's return to public
appearances to arrest him for contempt in not answering his subpoenas?

4. I haven't been following that very closely
The last development I've been aware of on that front was Conyers waiting to see if Eric Holder is going to enforce the subpoenas. I haven't heard anything one way or the other on that.

2. Rove simply helped put the Republicans in office.......
....to fuck things up. Their failed policy was what got them kicked out, as it always does.

There was only so much smokescreening KKKarl could mastermind before the GOP fucked it up.

6. But Karl was the enforcer who twisted their arms to support Bush
Even when supporting Bush was clearly against their own interests, they were compelled to go along with the White House. If only they formed up in a rank behind Bush, he assured them, he would deliver that mythical 'permanent republican majority.' They were stupid to trust him.

7. Think Sully would give lessons to people determined to crash
no matter what they are told?

8. I think more and more will be piling on
Rove in the coming years. They will say he is evil, yet their ideology (also his) won't change.
