4. I am an optimist that is going through a very pessimistic stretch.

I am trying to draw the strings together and make sense of what is going on. As some posts have indicated, I do think that there is something bigger and possibly more malevolent happening. I think it is the actions of desperate authoritarians that just can't fathom that their power decreased - not only Republicans, but the media and the finance arena as well. Something has to give - the pressure building up is becoming more and more evident.

6. I'm fighting a psychological depression

because of my foreclosure, but think I'm optimistic because
the dems are back in control. By the the time legislation kicks in
in 4 years things will get better but it doesn't help me now.
