and the wives seem to be happy as long as they can still spend heavily, no matter who, or what, their lords and masters are sleeping with. A platinum Amex buys a lot of "family values" type solidarity.

Case-in-Point, Jim Baker (husband of Tammy Faye) was driving around SC in a stretch limo, picking up male and transgender prostitutes for years, at a time when the number of either (in SC, anyway) could be counted on one hand. Everybody knew it, but nobody talked about it - not enough, anyway.
