Did anyone else watch Planet-Earth last night ? [aka Fall in love with your planet.]
If you missed this wonderful show last night you can see the opening premiere show rerun on Science network tonight. Prepare to be blown away by blue chip tech filming. It even looked great on my 10 yr old Sony! It was eye candy chock full of never before seen wildlife scenes and narrated by Sigourney Weaver. Planet Earth spoke of the rare and endangered inhabitants that we share this planet with and will make you feel something about your planet totally unexpected; a deep and
full wonderment/awe. My husband and I just sat there saying WOW! about 50 times. You just gotta watch it. sorry to gush and coo - but it Really Was That Good.

I bet Al Gore watched it.
I believe if more people watched shows like this there would be more environmentalists in
this country. Call every Republican you know and ask them to watch. It was absolutely political, if you wonder why I posted this, with several references to global warming and weather changes.

1. Yes! I still don't know if the underwater scenes were real..
I kept trying to figure out how they filmed it because it seemed impossible. Then I started to think I was watching CGI, and started freaking out because I realized I can't tell the difference any more.

3. I watched all 3 episodes last night. Pretty good visuals even if the
narration wasn't all that informative.

I understand that the selling point to the show are the visuals.

At least I didn't hear any mention of god...

6. I think if we could get more people to watch it, there would be more
people involved with environmental issues....
