I mean, the laws of supply (of suckers) and demand (of greedheads). See Mika, adults in the world have a visceral understanding that you can't just go on borrowing from later investors to pay off earlier investors forever. In fact, you can't even do it for very long. But you can loot a whole bunch of money for yourself if you get the right people in early, because the suckers you're fleecing later will be clamoring to sign up. You take all their money, pay off some of the early influential investors, then pocket the rest.

Kinda doesn't matter if you "meant" to hurt anyone. It's inevitable. You simple-minded fool (Mika, that is, not Stinky).
