Hannity Meets The Aristocrats - A DU Challenge
Sean Hannity has a new hot line allowing liberals to vent at him. And as you can see in this Daily Show segment - there are some pretty pissed off people with very vulgar reply's.

Hannity says the more vulgar the better.

"The Aristocrats" is a longstanding transgressive joke amongst comedians, in which the setup and punchline are almost always the same (or similar). It is the joke's midsection — which may be as long as the teller prefers and is often completely improvised — that makes or breaks a particular rendition.
The joke involves a person pitching an act to a talent agent. Typically the first line is, "A man walks into a talent agent's office." The man then describes the act. From this point, up to (but not including) the punchline, the teller of the joke is expected to ad-lib the most shocking act they can possibly imagine. This often involves elements of incest, group sex, graphic violence, defecation, coprophilia, necrophilia, bestiality, child sexual abuse and various other taboo behaviors.
The joke ends with the agent, shocked and often impressed, asking "And what do you call the act?" The punchline of the joke is then given: "The Aristocrats".

The challenge is to tell the joke for as long as you can - getting more vile as you go.

One of my friends used to end his act with a series of oxymorons, the last one being "Fox News". GMTA. :)

For their entertainment is a productive way to pass the time.

PRO TIP: anyone who calls into that hotline automatically fails, regardless of what they're saying. Using vulgarity or a trite, stupid and played out joke like the Aristocrats? Double plus fail.

4. Done in the spirit of the joke, it would have to be faux admiration
for the grotesque, not raving.

6. That's not the point.

The point is that joke has long since ceased to be interesting or subversive, if it ever was to begin with (and that itself is debatable).

And do you really think Hannity and his audience "gets" it, or the alleged nuances behind it, anyway? The only one looking stupid is the one telling it at this point, especially to that crowd.

7. I think you're taking this more literally than I am. TA isn't a joke
as much as it is a form and I was imagining the funny as akin to Hannity taking The Onion for an AP release.

Probably shouldn't try this at home. :)
