I received a call two nights ago from Al Franken's campaign asking for contributions to fight the legal
battle Coleman is waging...

I told them not at this time. But, the more I thought about it the more I realized how important it is to send a clear cut message that WE will
no longer tolerate voter fraud or disenfranchising the voters and making up the rules as they go. Democrats are in power now and unfortunately
in politics power often translates to money.

This morning I made a contribution. Enough contributions and this will send a loud message to Republicans we are supporting our party not only locally
but from coast to coast.

Al has dug in and fought with a tenacity that has been sorely lacking in all too many Democratic politicians during this long eight-year night. We need to lend him our support.

What do we get for our money? A senator who, when faced with a tough decision, will ask himself, "What would Paul Wellstone do?".

That's a mighty comforting thought.
