These people do not want to work with anyone unless they get everything they want. You bent over backwards and gave them more than what they deserve. In return, they trashed you and the hard work you did in putting together a good plan to help this country.

They opened up the treasury to anyone with a hand out, deregulated like sailors on shore leave, and basically got drunk on the power that was handed to them.

They lost two elections in a row because they governed badly. Today's economy is proof of that.

It's time to punish them for their irresponsible behavior, Mr. President.

One way of doing that is putting together a bill that you know works. If they whine, send them to their rooms without dinner, pass the bill and put this country back together.

It's the grownups' turn, Mr. President.
