8. All the women in the Senate voted in favor.
That would be really bizarre if women voted against it.

10. I was looking too for her name so I could laugh... she's got enough political sense to know that was
the end for her career if she voted for it... she probably HATED voting yes...

14. Kay "Buffy" Hutchison actually voted yes (TX)
:wow:

KBH is planning on running for Governor of Texas, so she didn't want to piss off more than 50% of Texas voters. Obviously John "box turtle" Corndog doesn't give a shit that women earn less money than men. Fuck him!

In fact I don't see any women Senators voting against the bill. Collins and Snowe (moderate Rs) obviously voted for the bill.

18. I probably could have been a bit more diplomatic, but I hate my asshole senator
Here's what I sent to ol' Sackofshit Shameless:

Please explain to me (and all the women that I will be forwarding this and your answer to) why you hate women?

Obviously you do. You voted against fair pay for women by voting Nay for S181, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009. Do we not deserve equal pay for equal work? How do you explain this vote to your mother? How does Julianne feel about being married to a misogynist? What will you tell that lovely granddaughter of yours from your infamous campaign commercial?

I guess since you can't treat African Americans like second class citizens anymore, unless you want a comeuppance from our glorious new president, you must turn your inner white male rage on someone else. We already know you hate Hispanics.

Yes I want a response and don't bother with a form letter. If your minions can't get creative with dealing with your angry constituents, then you need to replace them with someone that has a brain and an imagination.

21. Well said.
Anyone who does not believe in equality in 2009 does not belong in government. Its appalling to me that these dinosaurs still get elected.
