Women who care for their husbands for richer or poorer hurting in economic crises, too
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/28/nyregion/28daba.html?...

Dawn Spinner Davis, 26, a beauty writer, said the downward-trending graphs began to make sense when the man she married on Nov. 1, a 28-year-old private wealth manager, stopped playing golf, once his passion. “One of his best friends told me that my job is now to keep him calm and keep him from dying at the age of 35,” Ms. Davis said. “It’s not what I signed up for.”

LOL, no sympathy here.

2. Well I kinda feel sorry for her.
She has internalized the idea that she's responsible for her husband's emotional well-being.

4. 12 step group for wanna-be trophy wives?
Hey, Dawnie, maybe you should leave that 'beauty writer' job to help Bozo out, all you do is make other women feel inadequate...

5. Step One: Get him to buy a hefty life insurance policy.
Step Two: Feed him whatever the USDA is using to poison starlings. "Once they metabolize, the poison is gone so we've been told by USDA that the carcasses are not a danger to humans or any animals that might eat them."

Step Three: Drive him to a place known to be frequented by cheap prostitutes.

Step Four: Leave him in car and blend into the crowd. This might also be a good time to pick up a little spending money before the insurance check comes.

Step Five: Collect insurance, don't worry, be happy, and next time look for someone higher up the financial food chain.
