The Obama bashing e-mails have begun, and I just got a real duzzy!
The English was so lame, I suspect they outsource these ops to cheap foriegn labor.
It took ten minutes to edit it, and here is my redux:

Ice Cream & Elections
From a great teacher in the Billings area:

Who worries about the "Cows" when it is all about the "Ice Cream"?

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching eight grade this year. The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president, and let student chose nominees. They would made a campaign speech and the class would vote.

Albert and George were picked to run. I thought Albert, a smart boy, had a huge advantage. When they made their speeches Albert went first and presented his ideas about how to make the world a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best 24/7/365. Everyone applauded.

George, the dim-witted, spoiled, rich brat came to the podium. His speech was concise. He said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." George sat down. The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream." He surely could have said more, but did not have to.

A discussion followed. How did George plan to pay for the ice cream? He wasn't sure. Would his rich Daddy buy it or would the class pay for it? He didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Albert was forgotten. George won.

Every time George opened his mouth he offered ice cream, and people reacted like five-year-olds.

The lesson:
Now Obama has to feed the cows and clean out the barn.
And my students will be paying George's debts!

13. I haven't, and i'm from a family of teachers. I've heard the administration at times referred to as
such.

You must have different kinds of teachers where you live than i have where I've lived.

6. The kind who is out of earshot of the kids.
Teachers are regular people. They say all kinds of things the little darlings never hear.

But would a real teacher call a student "dim-witted" in a public email?

This letter - both the literal story and the point it's trying to make - is BS.

20. I know a teacher that referred to one of her students as "Post"
as in "dumb as a...". Never to him personally, but among friends.

5. It's a supposed analogy of the recent election.
The student "George" represents Obama. Obama promised ice cream (jobs, health care, etc.) to us but our children will have to pay for it.

At least that's what the letter is trying to say. It's obviously partisan BS.

9. George doesn't represent Obama.
George represents George W. Bush.

Albert represents Al Gore.

14. And SHE is apparently too "dim-witted" to realize
that her kids are already stuck with a $5 trillion bill from the Bush years. I like how the concern over the debt for Repubs started at noon on Tuesday....

15. In the original, Obama is promising ice cream, and the 48%'ers are cleaning the barn.
Sorry about the confusion, but the post is my REDUX of the e-mail.
It was circulated by a farmer in Montana!

8. It isn't Obama-bashing.
Albert and George ran for office. In 2000. Albert Gore. "George, the dim-witted, spoiled, rich brat" refers to a particular piece of shit on the bootheel of history. George made empty promises and now Obama has to clean up after him.

This is bashing Bush, not Obama. I just went with what the OP said ("The Obama bashing e-mails have begun"), but the names should have been a clue.

21. I do not know how it is done but some time ago on DU there was a
suggestion that you take all the names of the people on those lists and debunk the letter and send it to them. That would be one way we could help deal with them.
