Obama did not have to criticize George W Bush...
But he did. And I am glad that he did. It shows me that he is fearless. That he has courage. That he will stand up to anyone that he thinks is wrong. He could have done like most Democrats and skirted around the issues that we have talked so much about for the last eight years. But he didn't.

1. All he had to do was report on the state of things
The disasters speak for themselves.

2. He made things clear
It was subtle and searing. And I hope it gave little boots a new ulcer.

4. He didn't criticize Bush. He said what the reality was, and what he would do.
And that was the greatest criticism he could have given.

5. Speech = Perfect

In this time of grand jubilation, we can't forget the insidiously failed policies of the last resident of 1600. NO, President Obama has to remind us everyday that his tenure will be the anti-Bush, that's largely why he was elected. That's the way he should govern. The only people who give a shit that Obama was critical of the last 8 years are the sheeple who are gonna not like him anyway.

6. Yes, but he did it so well that the RW blowhards won't be able to pin down just how he did it.
I'd pay money to listen to Rush 'splain that speech.

12. Now is not the time to tap dance around about the issues.
The blame squarely rests on *'s shoulders as well as that of the gop. I'm glad Obama said what he did.
