Andrew Wyeth dead at age 91

(Jan 16): World renowned artist Andrew Wyeth, whose works include "Christina's World," died Friday morning.

Wyeth, the son of the late painter N.C. Wyeth, divided his time between the Wyeth family homestead in Cushing and a home in Chadd's Ford, Pa. The painter and his family have been significant benefactors for the Rockland-based Farnsworth Art Museum.

The family was honored by having the Wyeth Center in Rockland named for the Wyeths.
