Is the palin girl 'living in sin' because she STILL hasn't married?
If Bristol is not yet married, and has given birth, isn't she a great sinner in the eyes of the church of Wasilla, Alaska? I mean, bible rules are rules, just like in Monopoly, there IS NO monetary reward for landing on free parking, and there is no marriage in the eyes of GAWD ALMIGHTY until the preacher has preached and the ring is put on the bride's finger.

These aren't my rules, but those accepted by the Christian church, and you can't be wishy washy about sin. Not only is Bristol Johnston living in sin, but she is putting her child's very soul on the line.

Hey Mr. Johnston, you better marry that girl, even though it's too late, you may already be damned to hell for living outside of HOLY WEDLOCK!

And Mrs. sarah palin, what kind of a lousy fucking mother ARE you anyway?

1. In my opinion, she isn't. But in what should be the opinion of her, her parents, her church,
and he community - yes, she is.

But I bet not a single one of those fucking hypocrites will say it, even though they'll say it about other people.

Alaskan Crab with Alaskan Oysters and Steamer Clams.

10. Teenie boinking is not adultery,
unless said teenies are already married and boinking someone not their spouse.

Teenie boinking is more under the umbrella of fornification.

The rules are different in the fundamentalcase churches. Teenies aren't supposed to boink each other, but if they do, it's OK, as long as there's no abortion involved.

7. The deal amongst the fundamentalcases is that
teenagers are s'pose to not boink each other. But, if they do, all is forgiven, as long as they have the baby. Gramma will raise it, and the teeniementalist can finish high school and the like and get back to her normal activities.

There are lots and lots and lots of teenie pregnancies in the fundamentalcase congregations, but the old folks wish them well.

It just goes to show...you never can tell...

16. I think it's more of a "Well, it is an abomination when it happens to other families...
....cause they are nothing but atheist trash who turned their back on God and therefore are terrible terrible people who must be looked down upon and ostracized, unlike us. "

Some folks learn from their lives, others just are content to be led by their nose and not makes connections that would help them understand that unwanted pregnancy is something that happens in all kinds of families. Rich, poor, middle class, all races, and religions or lack thereof.

Those that learn that maybe their familial ties are more important than saving some specious face in their religious circles, tend to move away from religion as the center of their social intercourse or go searching for a more accepting fate.

But those that don't are the kind that look down their noses at the problems of others while defending their own problems as "just one of those things that happens".

It's kinda hard to feel sorry the latter type.....it's a willful kind of lack of empathy they have.

8. Let's give her and baby Tripp a break
It's her mother's religion and her mother's hypocrisy. Sarah is the hypocrite and the one that abused her daughter by pushing her into the limelight.

My niece married the father of her child and is now in the process of divorce thanks to his inability to act like an adult (cheating and abusive)- Levi made it perfectly clear he doesn't want kids and he doesn't want to get married.

18. Ahem! The answer is simple
When a nice, white, republican girl raised on abstinence-only education gets knocked up out of wedlock, it is a sign of good Xian values. Same for the lesbian daughter of, say, a repub VP.

On the other hand, if these same women should have a (D) after their names, or, shudder, should they have a tan not attained by an electronic bed or spraying device, well, then, I guess we all know what THAT means, don't we? Immoral, dirty-hippy, liberal socialists and/or brown people trying to steal my money!

Everybody clear? Good.

P.S. Good wishes to Bristol. I feel she's pretty much a victim of her parent's ignorance and arrogance. I can only hope she wises up in the years to come.

There is nothing in the Bible that says having children out of wedlock is a sin.

Why do you even ask the question? Don't you know that there is one rule for republicans and one for the rest of us? It's not "Do as I do" but rather "Do as I SAY" with these assholes!! Now if a teenage relative of Obama or Biden was to have gotten themselves knocked can you just imagine the "hell and damnation" speech THAT would have provoked from palin??? If she was just a common girl in the community, then yes ahe would be a horrible sinner, but since her mom is the governor and big shot there, those rules don't apply. I may jest a bit, but actually it probably isn't far from what I experienced growing up in a small town in Oklahoma. I had to keep my nose clean because we weren't one of the special well heeled families. They could do whatever they damn well pleased. One thing was for sure, the local Baptist church wasn't going to kick them out because it would lose too much income in the process. "Absolution" is absolutely for sale to those who can afford it.
