By supporting Prop Hate, Rick Warren favors rescinding rights.
I don't see how he could have a problem with Obama rescinding his invitation.

1. I have a sneaking suspicion
that the Obama advisors are meeting, shirts rolled up, hair askew, loaded up with lattes, yellow notepads scattered about, shoes off, feet on desks, red eyed, half eaten cartons of eggrolls and fried rice, bleary bloated all night faces, wondering how how how they got themselves into this and how how how they can pull themselves out of it.
meanwhile, Rev Rick is snoring peacefully in his fluffy bed and silk jammies, dreaming of jews and homosexuals washing in the blood of jesus.

2. Isn't that how it always is?
Liberals working to fix the messes caused by the GOP, who are sleeping comfortably blissfully unaware that there are problems outside their doors?

4. true, but in this case
the obama team created their own mess, by trying to suck up to the evangelicals. by doing so, they shot themselves in the proverbial foot. Perhaps they can bribe Rick W. with a huge tithe to back out. Thats a thought.

3. Maybe I just have a nasty, suspicious mind, but I think Obama
is getting exactly what he wanted out of this: a chance to present himself as a moderate by pissing off all those scary homos and feminists and such.

Sister Souljah, in other words.

5. I am up farrr too late because I cannot sleep
so I am willing to give odd thoughts a shot..but, really, who in the world came up with the idea that warren would be their choice for the invocation?
is there some kind of panel that sits down in a meeting room at obama headquarters, along with the inaugural committee, and makes recommedations? are they so out of touch with their own base that , because they saw Warren ONCE on a stephen colbert show, and on oprah, that he suddenly is given a green light without having vetted him ?
do they not realize that the internet WILL vet him? hell, we knew more about sarah palin in 5 minutes after she was announced then the mccain camp knew in one year..
are they that clueless in DC? I am beginning to think so.
this is like a train wreck.

6. Obama came up with the idea, according to press coverage cited here.
They have known one another for a long time, supposedly.

like sister souljah wasn't planned start to finish.

i'd even entertain the thought that souljah (preppie) was in on the deal.

that's how cynical i've got.

http://www.sistersouljah.com/lecturetopics.html

her website: pop entrepreneurial fluff. hardly the big "radical" she was painted as.

i bet she got paid.

9. In a large group of like minded people, not everyone is at the same level of friendship
We gave our support ot Obama because the alternative was untenable. Now we get slapped in the face on the very first day for our labors.

We now know where we stand with the President Obama's Administration, and it is not on the top tier.

10. I don't expect perfection from Obama ...
... but I thought he was a more subtle politician than to pull off something this obvious.

He never seemed to be the kind of person to keep score: insult the gays, expect them to accept a minor appointment as compensate, etc. That's so disrespectful and he's never struck me as someone who stoops to that kind of behavior.

Also, I doubt he would recommend his daughters attend Warren's church.

11. I hope your right, but I do not think so.. so far Obama has never been wrong, even when he is...
He has, from what I can see, ONE trait of the current administration, he is never wrong... even when he is
