Back when the NSA wiretap story broke, the freepers said,
"if you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about...."

Man, oh man... it sure is time to throw that back in their faces. If they haven't done anything wrong, they should have no problem going ON THE RECORD!

3. On the record and UNDER OATH
Certainly, somewhere in Freeperland, there is much insistance that people who tell the truth should have no fear of committing perjury

19. You just don't understand the rules of the Repubs
Rule 1. We make the rules.
Rule 2. We change them whenever we want to.

Got a problem with that? See Rule 1 and Rule 2.

6. EXACTLY!!
That's what I've said from the start of this thing. The difference here being, the admin* is supposed to be public servants who work for us.

While we the poeple should not be expected to live under "if you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about", our public servants should be expected to work under that assumption. "We the people" have a RIGHT TO KNOW what they are up to.

Congress is the people's house. The people are asking questions and we have every right to expect answers!!

14. I really want to hear a response to this.
If there's nothing wrong with the government listening in on your phone calls, then there's nothing wrong with putting them under oath.

15. And according to Sibel Edmonds and the NSWBC whistleblowers...
... they now have evidence that these warrantless wiretaps were being used on government officials. Perhaps some of them are on record, or at least we can document who was and who wasn't on the record and ask why they didn't put themselves on the record. Sounds like another reason to call Waxman's and Conyer's office to have them testify! Please DO IT folks! This week!

16. Exactly!!
If BushCo staff has NOTHING to hide, then they would be more than willing to testify in a public televized hearing and under oath, right? After all ~~ since they say they have done NOTHING wrong, wouldn't they wish to set the records straight?

always flip flop and there are no consequences.

If they didn't do anything wrong, they have nothing to worry about. Why are they scared about a little under oath testimony?
