America needs a TV series on one of the networks that normalizes gay marriage
Americans, for whom it isn't real if it ain't on TV, need to be acculturated to gay marriage by having one play out for half and hour or an hour one evening a week (at least).

TV producers, you may use this idea gratis. Karma be good to me.

1. Well, to be realistic it'll have to include lots of fighting and divorce.

3. Have you seen brothers & sisters?
Gay marriage. It's not the whole show, but a good part of an ensemble cast.

6. i can't think of a TV series that "normalizes" marriage period....
...and maybe marriage shouldn't be portrayed as normal on tv. i could never get into the cosby show because i never knew anyone with that kind of storybook marriage. it was way too fake.

imagine a gay version of married with children, instead. now, that would be classic.

8. Perfect!
Espcially if Katey Segal and Amanda Bearce were the spouses.

12. if they did it with al bundy and his partner instead......
al would be a successful retail representative at the women's shoe store. he'd love his job and he'd make a killing on commissions and he'd dress nice and have a nice car. his partner would probably have some graphic design consulting gig and in his spare time he'd work on remodeling and redecorating the house, so instead of living in the dump that the hetero-bundies lived in, they'd have a beautiful place. they'd have some adopted kids that would be more normal than kelly and bud.

it would end up being like a gay version of the friggin cosby show. ah well....scratch that idea. too boring.
