2. Could be that Valerie Jarrett pulled her name because she was...
...uncomfortable with Blago, and told Rahm about it.

3. Maybe Valerie Jarrett told somebody who told . . . .

Fitzgerald has to have some solid witness that he is holding on to. It still could be Jesse Jackson Jr. Fitzgerald has to have something more than just conversations between Blagojevich and his aides. After all, I assume he had some pretty good evidence before getting his wiretap. Or maybe he was wiretapping the politicians all along. There is just a lot that is not being said. There has to be.

Fitzgerald did not get his wiretap by going in and saying, look, this guy is a bad guy and he uses a lot of bad language and talks really loose. There had to be more. If no, Fitzgerald and someone else took a huge risk or just bluffed.

We do not have the whole story on this. Not by any means.

7. it was reported by the Tribune on December 5
However, the deal making stuff could have begun right after the election. So that would allow most of November for all of this stuff to go down.
