Is Blogojevich looking forward to 70 virgins in paradise???
Edited on Tue Dec-09-08 01:51 PM by Cyrano
One of those tapes has this megalomaniac talking about a presidential run in 2016.

There just doesn't seem to be any limit to which those in power can delude themselves into believing they can grab even more power.

Then again, given Bush/Cheney, I guess there really is no limit. And this is why indicting and prosecuting Bush/Cheney et. al. is a top priority. Because the price of not doing so will lead to countless more thugs like Blogojevich.

We seem to have become a country in which any power-seeking madman can gain and abuse power. How did we get here? How in the world did we get here???

Jefferson, Franklin and Madison must be doing thousands of rpms in their graves. But I suppose that was the inevitable result of letting American fascists usurp, pervert and ultimately ignore and destroy our Constitution.

1. It all started when people could just buy political office.
Opinions and stances don't matter much when you can just bombard the populace with non-stop propaganda.

3. I've heard a rumor
that power-seeking madmen have existed for quite some time, and even exist in other countries. I think what's unusual about our own country is that they sometimes get caught and punished under the legal system when they go too far, rather than having to be stabbed to death by family members in the town square.

6. "Et tu Brute?" There's nothing wrong with being stabbed to death in
the town square. As long as it's the right person who gets stabbed.

5. Only 70? How come Muslims get 2 extra virgins? Quick, alert O'Reilly!
This is just one more example of the war on Christianity!

8. Hold your horses please
Obama is not in the oval office yet. Up until that time I think it would be better for all of us to show faith in him doing what is right. He has not lied to me yet and I really don't think he ever will. :-)

9. Hi, madokie: These posts aren't about Obama. They are about
Blogojevich, the arrested governor of Illinois.

I doubt very much if many here have lost faith in Obama.

Speaking for myself, I really believe he could well be another Franklin Roosevelt who has somehow come upon the scene in a moment of desperation when he is so badly needed.
