They are playing Sweet Charity on HDMV right now and my previous accolades to Fosse memorians was Chorus Line. This is from '69 and I had missed it. The "Hey Big Spender" piece was freaking amazing.

They were SO far ahead of his time.

Love them both. One of my favorite numbers from Sweet Charity is "There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This" ...very appropriate lyrics for today's mood.

but inspired by Nights of Cabiria.

Cabaret is the best Fosse movie though, and All That Jazz is number two in my book.
