His. Jaw. Dropped ! One hand secured it from other onlookers, the other went for the checkbook.
That was the reaction of a local merchant when he saw the watercolor portrait of Obama we all went nuts about a couple of weeks ago.

I got my 2 copies today, and I am thrilled to report that it is more vibrant than the reproduction and utterly gorgeous.
Mimi did it in an edition of 100, they are signed and numbered, and in my opinion priceless.

I am a very very happy owner now, if you have not ordered one for yourself or a gift, they are going to sell out pretty quick. After seeing the real thing I am certain of it.

Portraits are so difficult to do. Even the slightest mistake might keep one from capturing the "look". She definitely has captured his character.
