I listen to cspan Washington Journal pretty much everyday and every fricking show, you have one of those scatter-brained cspan callers bringing up Sandy Berger "stuffing documents in his drawers/socks". What is it that these idiots don't get? Yes, Berger confessed to swiping a few pages, which were duplicates by the way. He did it to prepare for testimony at the 9/11 commission hearings. He plead guilty and was fined from what I understand. Yet you hear these morons calling in everyday asking why this topic haven't been talked about or why Berger hasn't been arrested. :eyes:

2. My RW family members bring this up from time to time.

I just respond, "Two wrongs don't make a right. Berger was dealt with at the time for his actions, and we must deal with the current situation with the same level of intensity."

And then I remind them that there is a considerable difference in the severity of the alleged crimes.

3. You're right, and the answer is simple...

They were whipped into a frenzy by FAUX. What they know is what Hannity/O'Liely/Limpballs told them. Once the the story died with Berger paying the fine or whatever, Hannity et al moved on. It doesn't benefit them to report what became of the incident. It actually benefits them to NOT report what became of the incident. Those knobs calling in are proof positive that the repukes only listen to the talking heads on FAUX. They keep calling in about it because they haven't been TOLD the story is over.

...on c-span. I heard it again this morning and I know she calls once a month just to say it again. Mark your calendar - in 30 days she'll call about it again.

What she, and the others don't get, is that Berger admitted guilt.

on with the National Archives or something like that, and several brought up Berger, two of them were men. But I do know what lady you're talking about. Idiots.
