McCain is no closer, it's a myth

The myth that the repuke pundits are spinning, that John mcCain is a closer is bull shit. First off, how'd he do as the front runner in the 2000 primary against Bush? You'll remember that he was coming off a big New Hampshire win only to blow it in South Carolina. This year, he would have been finished if the Florida primary wasn't split so evenly, with Huckabee slicing the conservative vote up to prevent a Romney win. it turns out that McCain beat nobodies in an evenly divided primary.

On the other hand, Obama beat a machine. The Clinton machine. Out gunned, out manned, name recognition, connections. A heavy weight of the first order, and a hell of a campaigner. I was a Hillary supporter. Although I admired Barack, I thought he had no chance. He has been a pleasant surprise. I want from liking him to working day and night for him since Hillary dropped out.

So, the bull shit about McCain as some comeback kid is just that, bull shit. He was the last guy standing in a weak field. He ran a horse shit campaign in the Republican primaries, and lucked out because the others were worse. Barack beat a titan. We'll win big tomorrow night.
