1. Berman? Truly a WTF moment.

"This presents a unique opportunity for John McCain and Barack Obama to reflect upon the last few months and address a large primetime audience on the final day of the campaigns,'' Norby Williamson, ESPN executive vice president of production, said in a statement.

During halftime??? Stick to game...

2. My thoughts exactly
I just can't figure out what questions he might ask. Or will he say "boom" or "back, back, back" or "he could go all the way"?

3. McCain is Rumblin, stumblin, fumblin. . .well, just rumblin and stumblin
Should be interesting. One last major interview before the election in front of a huge audience.

4. More people watch MNF than the news or talk shows.
I don't think this is a bad idea, but I'm not sure about Chris Berman. How about Bob Ley or one of the guys from "Sports Reporters," like Mitch Albom?

8. That is true
First thing I noticed is most people are not not avid news watchers like me. I'm pretty sure most people don't know who William Ayers is.

6. Bad idea, people who view a sporting event do it for escapism & don't want to hear politicians.
Time and place for everything, this will turn some veiwers off.

7. Get Ready For Some Hard Hitting...
...and extremely obnoxious cliches. But then, you go where the voters are...and I get a feeling a majority of the MNF audience haven't paid much attention to the election.

At least it's not GOOP shill Al Michaels doing the interview.
