1. To Be Fair, It Was Based Upon A National News Article
So, perhaps the blame goes to the paper who triggered the question.

3. It's A Definite Talking Point...
It's showing up in campaign speeches and ads. The evil Pelosi and Reid monsters are lurking!!! What's interesting is that many of the local candidates are screetching this worry as a signal they thing Gramps will lose while Gramps screams about it as he expects big losses in both houses.

I call this tactic the "firewall" as everything else hasn't worked and this could be the only argument they have left to keep their base from staying home.

Cheers...

5. No Dispute From Me
I'm just saying that it isn't necessarily CSPAN. It's a talking point being covered by a major paper. I think it's a ridiculous point, because we just had one party rule for 6 years, so it's nothing that new. It's only different because the party of bad ideas will be the party out of power.

6. One party winning all three branches is not
one party rule. 'One party rule' has a very different meaning in political science. Whoever writes it or repeats it is spewing propaganda.

10. You're Correct, Of Course
I had not thought of it that way in the original context of the thread. But, there's no doubt you're correct.

8. Black Is White...Up Is Down...
Nothing like bringing on a paid-for Pentagon shill to spread some manure.

It's interesting how he's thrown the AP and his buddy Ron Fornier under the bus...

Now he's predicting John Kerry is gonna lose? Damn, I need some of the stuff he's smokin'

2. What Will We Tell The Children???
This sounds like the "firewall" talking point this week...fear the evil, libruls...they're about to over-run us. Skully then quotes Billy the Bloody and his mighty clouds of doom...and yet not a word mentioned about all the abuses that went on during the DeLay reign of terror.

The fun here is to see the realization start to settle into the beltway that some real change IS coming...and they're not quite sure or ready for it. It's truly an end of an era...and damn am I glad to see it...I never thought it would happen.

:hi:

4. WHo is gonna buy this shit?
They are essentially admitting sweeping defeat, and I think people generally would like to give it all to the Dems after what the neo0cons did with the reigns of power.
