I met some Army veterinarians in NOLA when I went there in July. One of the sad things about these military dogs is that because they are often trained to be aggressive to humans, they can be difficult if not impossible to place in new homes when they retire.........maybe the bomb-sniffers are not as aggressive as the guard dogs.......at any rate, they go through them like me through potato chips, it sounds like.
