Many say that all we need to do with providing health care to everyone is to remove "65 and over" from the Medicare program.

I don't know how close we are to realize this hope. We move there in bits and pieces - for the poor, the elderly, kids, members of Congress :banghead: - so how about adding the vets? Or, at least, start with Afghanistan and Iraq vets?

With members of Congress and their families (?) enjoying generous health coverage, the people that were sent to die but were only :sarcasm: injured, deserve at least that much.

Can we find any courageous member of Congress who would carry this banner? Tag the cost into whatever Iraq bill is now being debated. So much for Rumsfeld "trim" military
:puke:

2. Not even Edwards is saying this
It's reprehensible. Kucinich, Sanders, might mention it, but the mainstream Dems don't take this up as much as they could.

3. Yes, it is reprehensible
I may mention this to Edwards website. He does invite comments, after all.
