John King reports that McCoward pulling out of CO, NM, IA

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Link to come as soon as the news is official. This is major! But don't stop working, ladies!!

Continue to donate, phone bank, canvass, talk to voters about their voting rights, etc.

Major Developing Story: Sources tell CNN's John King Mccain on verge of pulling out of Colorado

Sources also tell John King that Mccain senior advisers are privately conceding that CO, NM and IA are gone and that Obama has such a substantial lead there that they will be hard pressed to catch up! He just told Wolf Blitzer this on air on the situation room at 2:08 PM pacific or so. Some advisers want to stay in CO but the "toppers" are very pessimstic!

So, essentially Mccain is giving up the whole election because there is NO WAY NONE that he can win the electoral college if he loses CO, NM and IA.

Wow. Shocking news.

3. The best McCain can do now...
is to try and hold off complete humiliation, minimize the losses as best he can, and try not to lose too many once solid red states.

7. In light of that, Obama should use his superior war chest and make McCain bleed money.
Hit McCain in states like Virginia and North Carolina. Flood those states with Obama appearances and ads like there is no tomorrow. Let those voters there have the time to become more familiar with Obama.

16. True there is a vast cultural divide between our countries...

I have a friend who's in a "mixed marriage," and it's a constant stress on both of them -- when to have Thanksgiving, etc.

10. I saw this too.
Plan is to "hang on" to FL, VA, NC, OH, and flip PA (my state!). I suspect we're about to see some incredibly vile campaigning.

18. Yes, double digit lead in PA
But I heard John King correctly as did DUer in #1 response to OP. I can't imagine how they think they're going to flip PA.

GOP is just trying to hang on to Senate seats at this point and some of the traditional red states.

20. I am hoarse from screaming at his hate filled, lying ads
all narrated by the same breathy female the GOP trots out every four years, the one who acts like she hasn't got much time (gasp gasp) but she has to tell you (puff puff) this incredible dirt about Obama eating kittens.

I am not a violent person but should I ever hear this female's voice in real life, she will not be long for this world.

I sincerely do hope he stops running lies here in NM. Nobody's buying them.
