4. Yes this time if their inheritance is involved; same as it ever was.

I hope you can provide one story where I'm wrong. Hell, the Miami Dolphins owner is bailing...I know, weird.

3. Not if they are making well over 250,000 on an individual basis.
Then they're voting for McCain. He'll give them a bigger tax break. Obama will simply raise taxes on them.

Yes, there are always examples of rich people voting for the more liberal candidate. Warren Buffett once said that the rich are winning the class war against the poor and that the rich pay too few taxes, but most of the people in the billionaire's club are never that outspoken on the notion that they pay too little in taxes. I suspect most of them believe the opposite: That they pay too much.

5. Not everyone making more than $250k....
...is voting for McCain.

Their taxes will go up some--but not only by a few percentage points. Many people who make
a lot of money realize that we do need change and that McCain is not the answer.

7. Yes, I said the same thing you did. I referenced Warren Buffett as a classic example.
There are rich people who vote for the Democrats, but I stress again that I suspect the majority of them, especially those who easily pull in 5,000,000/year or higher, will vote for McCain or simply sit at home, especially given what Obama plans to do to them:

10. Huh? Explain that. I'm 52, white, and I have no guilt because I'm
voting for the best candidate, Barack Obama. White guilt? For what? I've supported Obama since January. Where are you coming from?

8. 250k is not the ceiling
Some people making 250 to 400 will look at the total picture and if they are thinking, they will see that McCain will cost them more than they will pay due to increased taxes. Some others making even greater amounts are just good people.

9. they know where their bread is buttered.
the uber-wealthy did very well under clinton, despite paying a higher tax rate- when the economy does well, everyone wins.
