Did anyone happen to see Joe the Plumber on Huckabee's show yesterday?

I happened to catch a little bit of it while channel surfing yesterday. He claims that he was just tossing the football around with his son in their front yard when Obama was walking through. He said that he thought it would be a perfect chance to try and trip him up with a tough question.

Sorry, but I'm still not buying any of this shit. The guy is a freeper type through and through, as evidenced by the way the Reich-wing talk shows have been salivating over him this week.

1. He keeps complaining about the media but can't keep his puss off a camera

And his story is a lie. He doesn't make the money necessary to pay more under Obama's plan. He makes less and would get a tax cut under Obama's plan. So why is he still a story here?

2. He has given us no reason to believe anything he says

Why a known liar would be believed on anything without outside verification is amazing to me. If he said it was sunny outside I'd bring an Umbrella...

3. I believe it

Since Obama is actually out talking to people without auditioning them all first, it was inevitable he would run into a Freeper. Now everyone is seeing how poorly informed they are.

4. I saw it

and not once did he say that McCain thrust him into the spotlight. He said that he asked Obama a question and now people are investigating his private life, whether he has paid his taxes, and that that has nothing to do with America. I was gob smacked at that comment. Didn't he ask about taxes? Wasn't that the point of his question? So, whether he had paid his taxes or not WAS what his view of America was at that moment, so that wasn't a fair comment to make, imho.

It was sad and Huckabee was about as probing as a biology student who is afraid of the frog.

It was really sad when they brought in the two people that helped dupe Acorn. They made it sound like all black people would sell their vote for a cigarette. Not a pack of cigarettes, but a single cigarette. It was really out there! He interviewed two people that clearly admitted helping to defraud Acorn, but never made that point at all!

Then he had his entertainment. Aaron Tippen (or what ever his name was) sang a song called Drill Here, Drill Now.

A fun time was had by all the non-thinkers in the studio. Me, not so much.

a stupid question from one of the audience members, who went on to say "why are people mad at bu$h and the republican party and not nancy pelosi, barney frank, acorn, and fannie mae?" ugh
