DALTON, Ga. (AP) -- An explosion at a law firm near downtown Dalton has resulted in multiple injuries.
Witnesses said the blast at about 10 a.m. Friday blew out the windows at the McCamy Law Firm. They said at least one person had his clothes burned off and was taken to the hospital.
Officials had a person in custody and were questioning him, The Daily Citizen newspaper reported. Area schools were placed on lockdown.

edited to add: witness on my local news states it appeared to be a homemade propane tank bomb and an official said bomber may be dead in explosion.
I'm listening to the local news channel now.

8. Placed on lockdown, not closed.
I think it's SOP whenever there is dangerous stuff going on to notify any schools in the immediate area.

5. They aren't saying what it was.
Yesterday a bomb went off in Missouri. I don't like explosions in election season (or any other but this makes me more nervous).
