Edited on Thu Oct-16-08 08:36 PM by Concerned GA Voter
He just said he knows the crisis has been tough on homeowners, but it must be acknowledged that it's been eight times as tough on John McCain!

"Barack is actually Swahili for 'that one.'" !!!

"Got my middle name from someone who obviously didn't think I'd ever run for president..."

7. Rachel just said that McCain's speech was funny, too
They're going to show it in a minute. Somehow I doubt it's as funny as Obama's, but I'm interested to see if gramps has a funnybone.

19. McCain was actually pretty funny.
Makes me realize, had he taken the high road and not picked Palin this would have been a tougher race.

20. I'm watching it again and seriously he was
really funny. His joke about McBush being able to tell him about Al Smith was too good.

15. It was the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Charity Dinner in NY
Rachel was showing it live, and all the politicos were there, Hillary, Bloomberg, Schumer, etc.
McCain and Obama sitting at the same table, gave funny speeches and dressed in tuxedos. It was interesting and believe it or not both Obama and McCain were very funny.

16. C-span's going to show it at 12:33 a.m. tonight.
I want to capture it on my DVR and save it. Really good, funny stuff, plus it's nice to see Obama in another setting still being on top of his game. :)

18. Obama was a delight. McCain did a very good job, I thought.
I almost remembered why people used to like him so much.

Hillary looked lovely, too.
