1. So basically the suckers (vultures) who swooped in to make a killing
Propped it up early in the week...and some more fat cats squeezed a little more profit out of desperate folks.
Nice!

3. My guess is the stock market will be unmoored until the credit market restabilizes.
It's hard to evaluate purchasing a company when literally everybody's credit lines are up in the air.

6. I got mine yesterday
There were an awful LOT of negative marks down the list.
However...it ended up $2.35 PROFIT for the quarter.
I'm thinking of celebrating by buying a half gallon of gas and basking in the knowledge of what a savvy trader I am!

Fake, Synthetic Bullshit Rally are gone?

Or is this just another example of "normal ebb and flow of the Market?"

I bet your longs did SMASHINGLY today.

But don't worry, the PPT and TPTB will be back on the Cathode Answer Box soon to soothe you with more empty rhetoric, Magical Schemes, and Sparkle and Dazzle you with the Power Of Bullshit.

12. Get out of stocks
We pulled our retirement out in January. Those paid touts on TV who keep talking about the long term fail to note that people who pull their money out before a 50% decline and who then get back in will do much better than those who left it in during the decline.

18. That's the point
These jerkwads have wanted to invest social security in the stock market for years. Today, they are all on the various business programs on TV, screaming about how stocks are such a good deal, even going so far as to suggest that folks should take out mortgages to buy stocks.

And no, I don't have enough to ride this one out. But I am a little better off because I didn't listen to these paid touts who talk about how stocks are for the long term, looking for the greater fool to buy assets that their bosses are looking to unload.
