Right wing zealots turn on McCain, boo him at his own rally

John McCain was booed at his own rally Friday in a suburb of Minneapolis.

The response from supporters came as he tried to defend rival Democratic presidential Barack Obama after a woman called Obama an Arab. McCain cut her off, calling the Illinois senator a "decent family man" and saying he simply has disagreements with his opponent on fundamental issues.

McCain was booed as he said people should not be afraid of Obama as the nation's president.

He went on to say if he didn't think he could do better, he wouldn't be running.

It followed a situation a day earlier in Wisconsin, when an angry supporter called Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi socialists at a McCain rally.
