On the Ground in New Hampshire

Good Morning, DUers. Just an update as My wife and I prepare to head up to Manchester New Hampshire. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) is sending hundreds of union members from all over New England to the Granite State to personally contact fellow union members. This is the fourth such union organized canvass that I have been involved in (others with the AFL-CIO) as we try to convince our union brothers and sisters of the importance of a Democratic victory to the future of all working people.

This is just a reminder that we have to make personal contact with voters. Those who support us, we must make sure get out to vote. Those who still need to be convinced, we have to try to educate. Those who stand against us, we should try to demoralize. This is the election of a generation. It's 1932 all over again (I read the history) and we should all be a part of it.

2. We are doing it all

The AFL-CIO is targeting the toughest demographic in this race, blue collar whites. That's us. If we bring our brothers and sisters home, we'll be all set.

We have also set up phone bans all over New England, (the one i work out of is the IBEW 103 hall in Dorchester Mass.). There is a huge, generic GOTV effort by labor in Nw England into swing states.

Connecticut is working Pennsylvania and Massachusetts and Rhode Island are working New Hampshire and Maine.
