The market is up in Baghdad because the surge is working
Latest crap from Morning Joe.

Is everything good due to the surge working?

It was a beautiful sunny day here yesterday. Guess that was because the surge worked!

I got a great deal on bananas yesterday. Must be because of the surge.

Obama is up in the polls. The surge did it!

Oh wait. . .

1. The rightwingers have been blinded by the surge
Really, who gives a shit about the surge ??!!
The surge was just a tactic to somehow quell
the disaster we created with this ill-conceived war
in the first place. These dopes think they should
be congratulated for cleaning up their own mess.

They don't get it, do they?

2. Meaningless rot
Joe and the rest of the ignorant bastards on the right can claim the surge is working all they like. It's no more meaningful than McSame claiming Baghdad was safe to visit, and "proving" it by strolling through a Baghdad market wearing a bullet-proof vest and surrounded by our troops on the ground and in the air.

Civilians and US troops continue dying for the despicable lies the Repubs want to believe.

5. Great Joe
Now rent a bus and tour Iraq, north, south, east and west to show us the great progress. I'm sure you will be welcomed as one of the great liberators.

6. Of course it's the Surge
Lotta exciting investment opportunities when you're flush with don't-kill-us-please payola.

We keep raining millions on them, they'll probably have their own bubble and crash before long. Then it's back to blood and recriminations. We'll have to re-invade to Protect Our Freedoms.
