1. Hope you are right but I doubt it. He just doesn't "get " it.

4. I think he "gets it"
but, I think that he thinks he is going to be "protected".

I do think he will be just another "fall guy" eventually for this evil admin.

2. You aren't the only one
a fellow on Ed Schultz predicted the same thing--I was at work and couldn't listen as closely as I'd like, but he was a lawyer of some kind who had been investigating the USA incident for a while. He said Gonzales would be gone by the end of the week.

5. I think he will have to be dragged kicking and screaming from the Chimp's ass
to which he clings. If Bush loses his attorney general, he won't get a genuine 100% Chimp Fluffer back in as attorney general through the confirmation process. Bush will be deader meat than he is now in that he will have a more mainstream person forced upon him to head the Department of Justice and the remaining investigations. Therefore, Bush will fight to the end on this, I think, as he has nothing left to lose.

6. More emails coming out tomorrow.
I picked Friday for resignation too. I just can't see how Gonzo can last one more week.

7. I hope he takes Rove with him.
You know how I know beyond a shadow of a doubt these firings were politically motivated? Because Karl Rove *WH Political Advisor* was involved. That speaks volumes to me. If it was 'routine' performance issues that led to the firings, Rove would have had no reason to be involved. I hope he and Gonzo both take a hike.

8. Schumer's comments of earlier today hint that a stay-or-go meeting
may be in place this evening.

I think you're right about Friday.

10. That's a pretty safe bet
Amazing that it was just a week or so ago that Gonzales said he was too busy to deign to appear before congress. His fall has been as brutal as it was fast.

11. This is not a passing storm Bush can ride out
The longer he let's Gonzales stick around, the worse it's going to get for him and his crew. Of course, the latest revalations concerning the e-mail domain names have opened up a new can of worms that threaten the Bush presidency whether Gonzales sticks around or not.
