Today's "Thank you Howard Dean" thread!
Nebraska's 2nd district.

North Carolina.

Indiana.

All these places and so many more are in play due to Dean's 50-state strategy!

Thank you, Dr. Dean! If our experiment in democracy survives the GOP we will have you to thank for it!

RAR!

3. Thank you Howard!
His strategy worked in 2006, and it seems to be working again now.

I am very proud of him, and it seems like he found just the right position for himself.

7. I was kinda confused why he would run for DNC chair!
I mean, why could he possibly want that job?

Now I know!

9. Thank you Howard!
Howard has done wonders to revitalize our party. I was there in Kansas when he kicked off the 50 State Strategy. Here's a link to the thread and pictures I posted at the time.

18. Oh no, I disagree.
Dean has proven that every job fighting for democracy is important.

Dean doesn't have too be president, just like Teddy didn't have to be either!

14. He's the reason I was against Clinton's candidacy
because the first thing she'd have done would have been to ask him to step down so the DLC could be reinstalled as the party's power brokers.

Notice one of the first announcements Obama made when he clinched the nomination was that Dr. Dean would be asked to stay on.

That's what the race was really about. It certainly wasn't about ideology or even personality as both were roughly equal in those regards. It was about control of the party.

Let us all hope Senator Clinton was the last good candidate whose campaign foundered due to DLC leadership.

16. That's my man
He was the first politician I heard speak who really got it about what was going on in this country. He was right in 2003, and he's still right.

I was so angry about the dean scream debacle, but if not for that, he wouldn't be the head of the DNC with a working 50 state strategy! I love that man!
