head on Lou Dobbs said that Dems will construct a bill that includes little guy protections
Edited on Mon Sep-29-08 06:13 PM by notadmblnd
and try to shove it down repubs throats. Old Lou was bemoaning the dems not passing the bill and head pointed out that dems didn't want to pass this with out the pukes being on board. Then she said that if the pukes won't sign on to the bill, they will craft one with taxpayer protections and shove it down their throats. I say, get to work.

2. Funny thing about Lou's allegedly "Independent" status...
Lately, he has a hard-on for smoking any and every Democrat he can, and Republicans get a free pass. He has also taken a special interest in nipping at Obama's backside non-stop.

Seems like ever since McGrampa chose Sara 'Pit Bull' Palin, he has taken on a special affection for the Republican brand. Poor Lou, he's got a woody for the MILF, and it caused him to go blind to the fact that McGrampa is the same as what he has been bitching about.

15. Exactly. And he pimps off the air for the same entities he criticizes on air.
He's a big fake and worse.

Back then he was pretending to like Hillary.

5. Public hearings with real economists, not a bunch of posturing
politico's. We need experts to sort out this mess, not members of the old boy network who hardly even show up at work.

12. he was playing both sides
when he first started talking to the head. He was in fact celebrating the defeat of the bill, then the head implied the pukes were the problem and Old Lou jumped off the rail and started blaming them dems for it not passing.

9. Krugman was just on KO saying the Dems should do exactly that.
Instead of trying to make the Bush-Paulson proposal work, start over and do a bill that protects the American public and pass it on party lines. Screw the Republicans.

11. I agree. And exclude any "expert" who was in on creating the problem.

13. I think it is a great idea. Why try to compromise on a bad bill when we have a majority?
Do a good bill, and then make Bush veto it if he dares.

14. Now THIS would be a veto that should bring a real filibuster out of the cloakroom!
Screw the 60 vote super majority.. Make them explain exactly why the bill SHOULDN'T have real consumer protections, with teeth and the possibility of jail time!
