Republic Bruce's Demise
Bruce McAuley joined the Cosmic "IT" at 5:26 A.M. He died the way he lived saying "Life is Good". He had just pulled a ribbon from the cats gut and handed me my coffee and was checking his E-Mail. It took the Ferry County Sheriffs Office Dispatch five rings to answer and took Republic's Ambulance 25 minutes to reach the house, even though we live next door to the dispatcher. Bruce was the burr under the saddle of the horse in this one horse town, and that's what killed him.

late husband, who was a DUer himself?

I'm a little disappointed that this thread has sunk off the front page twice in the last couple hours.
