19. I like to see exactly what lies they are feeding to the populace
But I can't stomach them for more than 30 seconds. I don't understand how they are allowed to operate, really.

4. Oh no. :( Just got a email from him earlier today
Dear xxxx,

Bringing real change to Washington means more than electing Barack Obama as President.

We must also elect a filibuster-proof Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate that will stand with us beginning next January and end Republican obstructions as we move to put America back on track.

The Committee for a Democratic Majority is working hard to provide critical support to our Democratic Senate candidates in the final crucial weeks of this year's election campaigns, and it needs to raise $20,000 more by October 1st to do so. Will you join me in supporting the Democratic majority?

http://www.democraticmajority.com/60votes

In 2006, your strong support helped Democrats take back control of Congress and stand up to the failures of the Bush Administration.

But with only a 51-49 majority in the Senate, our legislative victories have been blocked time and time again by GOP obstruction tactics, which require 60 votes to overcome. For the past two years, Senate Republicans have done everything in their power to undermine our progressive agenda. They have hurt working families, hurt senior citizens and hurt the nation's children.

We've seen the damage a GOP Senate minority can do to our country. Make no mistake, Senate Republicans will do even more to undermine an Obama presidency.

Fortunately, a 60-vote Senate majority is within our grasp. Democratic challengers are either winning or neck-and-neck with 11 incumbent Senate Republicans. It only takes nine victories in those races to reach the critical 60 votes we need in the new Senate that takes over in January.

With just a little over four weeks to go before election day, every dollar counts. The more we raise, the more impact we'll have on Senate races across the country.

Please join me now in electing a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate:

We can make history twice this November - by electing Barack Obama as President, and by giving Democrats the filibuster-proof majority we need to actually make change happen. Your help right now can make all the difference.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Senator Edward M. Kennedy

PS: To make real change in Washington, we need allies who will stand up for Democratic values in the Senate. Please help us elect a filibuster proof Democratic majority in the Senate on election day, Tuesday November 4, by helping to raise $20,000 for the Committee for a Democratic Majority now:
