31. Yeah Tom Hanks! As to Mad Men. It's set now in 1961, Kennedy is Pres and it centers around
Madison Avenue advertising, and one person in particular..an exec in a big firm and with a home and family in the suburbs. Although my Dad wasn't in advertising..he managed a furniture store, so much portrayed in the show is so familiar to me as I was a kid growing up back then. The character's home is in Westchester Co. (where I live now) but it wasn't very different on Long Island where I lived.

It shows how they used advertising to sell most anything and it's also a great grown-up soap. :)
