1. Sitting around in his underwear...
Drinking Coors Light from the can and playing Guitar Hero.
Every now and then they wash him, shave him, and bring him out for an appearance.

6. He's watching his precious "legacy" dissolve into a steaming pile of Crawford Cow Cakes.
He's not even smirking (quite) as much these days. 9. He needs to endorse Obama.
You know there's at least a small part of him that wants to.

12. He's a horn dog.
He doesn't like McCain. He'll probably get really drunk and endorse Obama.

13. Bush has been undermining McCain for weeks
He pulled the rug out from under McCain on his "I'll stay for a hundred years in Iraq to achieve victory if necessary" position. Bush essentially ended up agreeing with Obama on a number of issues underpining McCain's Iraq stance, like early troop withdrawals and timetables. Lots of people thought Bush's decisions were timed to damage McCain.

With the current economic situation, McCain looks like a fool after proclaiming for months the "fundamentals are strong", "regulations are bad" and "conservatives don't bail out corporations". He basically parroted the Bush mantra for over a year. Bush then recants decades of GOP economic dogma: confessing the economy is in crisis, saying regulations are needed and announcing we're bailing out a bunch of failed corporations. There goes McCain's fiscal policy down the toilet.

Most suspicious of all has been the day to day management of the McCain campaign by Rove's operatives who seem more determined to torpedo McCain's campaign than to defeat Obama. McCain's presidential run will probably only be remembered for all the incompetence and serial lying. And the choice of Palin was another decision forced on McCain, one that, as each day passes, seems more and more likely to sink his campaign. With friends like these, who needs enemies?
