I wrote a letter to the editor, some loser with a blogspot page quoted it and mocked me

I wrote a letter to the editor. It was published in two local papers.
Then some loser running a blog on blogspot quoted it, and my real name, and attacked my opinion. They cited it as example of the paper's media bias. I don't mind the rebuttal to my argument as much as I mind the comment about me and Biden getting hair plugs (i.e., personal attack).
What should I do?

I was publicly humiliated in our city's magazine after a conversation with the writer. It was awful and embarrassing. But, I let it go. With the passing of time, the attack has lost much of its sting.

I knew I had been successful--when my column drew emotion or a reaction from someone. That is the
hallmark of a successful LTTE. Seriously.

And if someone personalizes the attack--all the better. This means that you really enraged and
provoked them.

Congratulations! You did very well. For every angry person--you also warmed the hearts of many who
said, "Exactly! He said what I wanted to say!" However, you'll never hear from those people.

Pat yourself on the back, celebrate and realize that your LTTE motivated someone to action.

You asked, "What should I do?". I say, keep writing LTTE, because you are obviously very
skilled at communicating and evoking emotions--with words.

11. this is typical....many cities with large daily papers have found themselves..

with unofficial committees made up of a bunch of guys with too much time on their hands. they look through the paper every goddamn day to find something they don't like, then act like it's 'what more evidence do you need?" that the local news outlet is radically left.
theyfeed on letters, 3-paragraph news items, the occasional moderate editorial or a front page photo that's not a righty favorite.

they are usually idiots....

Why is it there's soooooo many blogs written by wannabe libertarians/objectivists/republicans/whatever and they're lucky to have two to three comments on each entry, if ANY at all? Atleast most left-wing blogs have people actually reading them.

If I were you, I'd ignore that guy's blog, which it seems is what most people are doing anyways. The only thing most of these Neil Boortz-wannabes want anyways is attention.
