by the name of William G. Clark - I was told a very interesting story today from my mother along with a very unique item:

This is his obituary: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9402E4D71431F930A1575BC0A9679C8B63

I was helping my mother sort out the books because I had a whole bunch of books that my grandfather left us and I gave it to my parents to add to their library. While I was sorting, I noticed a book called "Illinois Blue Book 1955-1956" - and asked my mother (who is from Skokie, the same city that this guy was from) - she told me that my mom's father openly supported Clark in '68, and Clark gave him a gift appreciating his support - it was signed by William G. Clark. At first I thought "Wesley Clark?", but there is no relationship, but my mother said when she's gone, I must keep this book. This guy was an AG and a state Supreme Court jurist. That was after I thought, "Why does my mother have a old car pricing book" - BEFORE I opened the book to the middle of the page, and realized what it was - and asked her.

I just thought that was pretty neat...
