70 year old Mother in Law, and Republican fund raising envelopes
The last time there was an election in NC, my mother in law (retired school teacher-- volunteer worker in the church) was getting mail from the Republican party asking for donations--oftentimes with postage paid envelopes.

She just wrote:

"Go Cheney yourselves." on the literature, put it in the envelope and stuck it in her mailbox.

Problem solved!

Go Mom!

2. We could do that ...
Bring it on. We have all the credentials. Over 70, can't walk, heart troubles and on and on, but we can do something like that and feel like we did our part. Forget the vote that would not do a thing except lower our self esteem for going along with this crooked system. They would be so embarrased and surprised if everyone refused to be fodder in their dirty hands. What would they do if they didn't have the means to rob us ? The rest of the world would know that the people are not in favor of doing the things they do for power and money. It would have to be a mass amount of people though and that isn't going to happen for a long time. People will live in poverty and be slaves to the rich a long time before everyone decides to refuse to let them orchestrate our fate. I'm ust letting off stem here. It will take a lot more killing and wars before the people try civil disobedience. The only way I can is to not vote, so I will do that. Mrs. Moose

4. You made our day !!
Thank you, thank you Jan...Michael. Mr is getting some better. He has been through a lot and I'm lucky to have him. I am not doing too good now, but believe me, I'm more uppity with the dictators than ever. We are homebound, but busy when our bodies let us. If not, we get on here and raise cane. How are you doing ? Please tell us....where is the old crew ? We have been hunting for yas. Have you heard from Whysayker ? WE miss you all. ....happy with your marriage and hope you have as many years as we...like 57 ...and no regrets ever. Hugs, Mrs. Moose

5. Oh my gosh...
OK, Nothingshocksmeanymore and Stephanie (Thtwudbeme) finally met in DC a couple of years ago. They talk on the phone all the time. She is doing well!

Whyzaker is seen occasionally on DU (There are spottings!)

Zombywoof went and married another DUer by the name of Nini. We met Zombywoof at the Grand Canyon and talked to Nini on the phone--they are doing well, and are just wonderful.

There are many old DUers still here--- Crewleader is in the Economic forum all the time, and Catwoman is constantly posting in GD. Ulyses is still here, as is Underpants.

I am trying to think of some others you all might remember.

Are you all still in SC?

6. Yes, Jan..we are in SC and hope to stay here, but
Our health is not that great and the kids want us to go back to RI to be near them. We are loved all over wherever we go around here. We could not leave without missing them. Crew sent me a private message and said her addy is the same, but Ed lost his memory through all he has been through and we don't have it. Mr Moose is gaining so I have more time on here as now I'm not up to par and have to take it more easy or face surgery. Well, I'm trying to will myself OK and it just might work. I remember all those people ...who could forget Underpants.?..Ulyses, Catwoman oh yes...I remember. We don't forget any of those people. Now we have a doll, (I collect artist dolls). They are all over the house andwe have a nice one named Jan. He is right here in front of me. We have one at my feet named Michael. We heard from Lydia Leftcoast. We really like that girl. I am staying on here and going to raise the roof until I get everyone back. Mrs. Moosedog
